The procedures for accessing and reserving workspaces vary depending on your status. Please select the section that applies to you below.
As a student or staff member at the University of Montpellier (UM), you can:
- freely access the university libraries’ workspaces, in the atmosphere (silence, quiet, conversation) that best suits your needs at the moment;
- Reserve a private booth, a space for two people, or a group study room through the Affluences app at the Richter Library, the Science Library, the Pharmacy Library, and the Nîmes IUT Library;
- Submit a request for space to host an event (meeting, training session, workshop, interview, film shoot) that is not available for booking through Affluences (see the dedicated profile below).
On-site use of the workspaces is open to everyone and free of charge, with no registration required.
A cabin for 1 to 2 people is available at the Richter Library, upon request at the front desk or via this dedicated form.
Are you a member of the University of Montpellier staff or a partner, and would you like to organize an event (meeting, training session, workshop, interview, film shoot, etc.) at a university library? For needs not met by the spaces available for reservation through Affluences, you can submit your request using the dedicated form.
