The university libraries provide a selection of resources to help students effectively prepare for competitive exams or language certifications, including textbooks, past exam questions, and databases that can be accessed in the libraries or remotely. This page is intended for students and test-takers.

Teaching Competitions (CAPES, Agrégation)

Study guides for the CAPES and agrégation exams are available in the libraries of the School of Education.

BiblioOnDemand

Access to virtually all French textbooks, from elementary school through high school, for general, vocational, and technical tracks, on the platforms of major publishers (Éducadhoc, Libmanuel, Bibliomanuels).

Civil Service Exams (IRA, ENM, ITRF, etc.)

Exam preparation guides and past exam questions are available in the “Professional Life” section of the Richter University Library. These resources help students prepare for external and internal competitive exams in all categories (A, B, and C) within the state, local, and hospital civil services.

To help students prepare for language certification exams, the University of Montpellier’s libraries offer a variety of books:

Language Classes: On the ground floor of the Richter Library (Babel Room), for beginners and those looking to improve their skills in English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Arabic, German, and French as a Foreign Language (FLE).
TOEIC/TOEFL reference books: on the ground floor of the Richter Library, on the first floor of the Pharmacy Library, and on the ground floor of the Science Library.

The university libraries also provide access to electronic resources:

Vocable Numérique: an online magazine offering access to multimedia resources in English (vocabulary, reading and listening exercises, conversations, quizzes, placement tests, and TOEIC practice exams).
